EngineSIM — This useful jet engine software allows students to perform accurate design modeling and testing of an engine. FoilSim — This is an educational software package that was created at the NASA Glenn Research Center to instruct students in the basics of aerodynamics. Gulf of Maine Aquarium — Space Available is unique in its use of information technology. The Web site is used by teachers in all 50 states and 50 foreign countries. The site takes visitors on a virtual trip through the bogs, beaches, and aquifers of Maine. LDAPS - the Lego Data Acquisition and Prototyping System project—or LDAPS, for short—is dedicated to introducing engineering into K-14 education. By taking advantage of a child's tendency to build and create, LDAPS combines LEGO Dacta building blocks with engineering challenges into methodology as the project develops curricula and hardware and software extensions to enhance learning. ROVer Ranch is a place to learn about robotic engineering. You can learn about the development of robots, their elements and systems, and use a 3D VRML simulation to build and run your own robot.
