Space Team Online provides opportunities for students K-12 to meet the men and women of NASA who make the space shuttle fly! You can learn about their diverse and exciting careers. We'll encourage email exchange and host frequent live network events on a Web chat system, and periodically webcasts add the video dimension to these interactions. We hope you'll feel that you've met (not just read about) NASA's neat folks.
The Space Team Online web site includes:
* Biographies of NASA experts and stories about their work days
* Several chats per month
* An e-mail service in which individual questions get answered
* Audio/video programs over the Internet
* Lesson plans and student activities
* Collaborative activities in which kids work with one another
* Areas for students to publish on NASA's Web
* Background and photo sections
* Places where teachers can meet one another
