Solar System Online provides the educational community with new and exciting information from space sciences as well as provides relevant information from previous space science projects such as Online from Jupiter and Live from the Hubble Space Telescope.
The SSO super-project is collaboration with the NASA Office of Space Science to provide exciting content from past and current projects to the education community.
The Solar System Online web site includes
a. Biographies of NASA experts and stories about their work days
b. Several chats per month
c. An e-mail service in which individual questions get answered
d. Audio/video programs over the Internet
e. Lesson plans and student activities
f. Collaborative activities in which kids work with one another
g. Areas for students to publish on NASA's Web
h. Background and photo sections
i. Places where teachers can meet one another
