PASSPORT TO KNOWLEDGE uses broadcast TV, videotape, e-mail, the World Wide Web, and hands-on discovery activities so students can actively simulate the science seen on camera and online in their own classrooms. Its flexible so that even teachers with limited time and technology can participate. Targeted at middle school students, activities can be adapted up or down in grade, and also provide connections to math, social studies, language arts, technology, and other disciplines, while meeting the National Science Education standards.
