Stephanie Smith (JSC) and Flint Wild (HQ Education Office) will present together at TEL*ED 97, "Taking Flight in the Digital Age," the International Society for Technology in Education's sixth international conference on telecommunications/multimedia in education. They will have a plenary spotlight session involving V-Tel
links between JSC, Mexico City, and Austin. The title is "Take a Peek into the Future on a Virtual Tour of the International Space Station." It is an astronaut-led tour through the life-size mock-up of the ISS (at JSC). The event will be broadcast over the Learning Technologies Channel, along with the keynote speech by Hector Galan. The HQ Education Division is also hosting a booth.
